Your use of AnsysGPT is governed by this AnsysGPT Notice and the AnsysGPT Terms of Use. Ansys may revise this AnsysGPT Notice at any time in its sole discretion without notice. Please read this Notice carefully.

AnsysGPT is intended to support customer use of separately licensed Ansys software. AnsysGPT may produce incorrect Output (as defined below). Output generated by the Platform is not tested, verified, endorsed, or guaranteed to be accurate, complete, or current by Ansys. You must independently review and verify all Outputs as to appropriateness for any or all use cases or applications. AnsysGPT and any Output provided “AS IS” with no warranties of any kind.

Additionally, please be aware that Outputs provided to you may be similar or identical to Outputs independently provided by AnsysGPT to other users. Ansys does not represent or warrant that (a) any Output does not incorporate or reflect third-party content or materials, or (b) any Output will not infringe third-party intellectual property rights.

You may use the AnsysGPT and any output or responses generated and returned by AnsysGPT (“Output”) solely to support your use of separately licensed Ansys Software and in accordance the following requirements and guidelines:

• You shall not share your credentials with anyone else.
• You shall not use AnsysGPT in any way that is prohibited by law, regulation, government order, or decree, or any use that violates the rights of others.
• You are prohibited from engaging in any conduct or activity that restricts or inhibits any other user from using AnsysGPT.
• You agree to abide by the requirement not to try to “break” the system by malicious promptings that may cause AnsysGPT to give answers beyond its intended function of providing a technical discussion about Ansys software and its capabilities. Any violation may result in a ban on using AnsysGPT permanently.
• You shall not upload or transmit any material that infringes or misappropriates any person’s copyright, patent, trademark, or trade secret, nor should you disclose any information that would constitute a violation of any confidentiality obligations you may have to Ansys or to any third party.
• You are prohibited from submitting material to AnsysGPT that discusses illegal activities with the intent to commit them, material that is libelous or that defames or threatens any other users, harassing statements, hate speech, or material that could generally be considered obscene.
• You shall not use the Platform or any Output to develop, train, or improve any AI or ML tools or models.
• You shall not represent any Output as being approved or vetted by Ansys.
• You shall not represent the Output as being an original work or a wholly human-generated work.
• You shall not provide or make available to Ansys via AnsysGPT any (i) information that infringes, misappropriates or violates any third-party rights or applicable laws, (ii) personal data revealing racial or ethnic origin or genetic data, biometric data, or other personal data subject to specialized security regimes, (iii) any information, or documents or technical data that are U.S. Government Classified, Controlled Unclassified Information, International Traffic in Arms Regulators (ITAR) or Export Administration Regulators (EAR) controlled or otherwise have been determined by the United States Government or by a foreign government to require protection against unauthorized disclosure for reasons of national security, (iv) any individually identifiable health information including demographic data, medical history, test results, or other information used to identify an individual or provide healthcare services, healthcare coverage, and related payment services (“Health Data”), or any other medical, demographic, visual, or descriptive Personal Data that is subject to the Health Insurance Portability & Accountability Act of 1996 (“HIPAA”) or other laws that regulate the processing of Health Data. You acknowledge and agrees that Ansys is not a Covered Entity or Business Associate (each as defined by the HIPAA), or (v) topics or information restricted by the People’s Republic of China data protection and privacy laws.
• You shall not use AnsysGPT for any application where a failure of the Platform could result in death, serious injury, environmental damage or property damage, for automated decision-making that has legal or similar significant effects on individuals, or for purposes or with effects that are discriminatory, harassing, harmful, or unethical.
