Generative AI refers to a subset of artificial intelligence that uses patterns and structures from training datasets to generate new data that has similar features.
When users submit queries to the chatbot that are related to Ansys products and services AnsysGPT-Semiconductor will generate a response and provide supporting documentation. AnsysGPT-Semiconductor is not a search tool. Instead, it generates new responses based on queries submitted by the user and its knowledge base.
Think of AnsysGPT-Semiconductor as a 24/7 virtual support engineer that can help answer questions about Ansys products. You should independently review and verify all AnsysGPT-Semiconductor responses to determine whether it is appropriate for any or all use cases or applications.
Data
AnsysGPT-Semiconductor dataset draws from the Ansys created, developed, or licensed data that includes, but is not limited to, Ansys Courses, articles, videos, webinars, product documentation, and other Ansys content on Semiconductor tools and products. We are continually adding more data to cover the depth and breadth of Ansys Semiconductor product portfolio.
Currently AnsysGPT-Semiconductor covers RedHawk-SC, RedHawk-SC Electrothermal, Totem, Totem-SC, PathFinder, PathFinder-SC, On Chip Electromagnetics Products (RaptorX, RaptorH, VeloceRF and Exalto), Clock FX and Diakopto tools (ParagonX, PowerX).
Ansys only tracks quantity of tokens used to identify abuse or misuse of the system. Ansys does not train the underlying large-language model or the corresponding Ansys datasets with any prompts submitted, or output generated and returned by AnsysGPT-Semiconductor.

No, when user indicates Like or Dislike on a response from AnsysGPT-Semiconductor, it only stores a timestamp of when this happened, and the corresponding Like / Dislike indicator. There is no record of user, question, or response.
To the extent that any output contains or is based on Ansys background IP, Ansys retains rights, title, and interest in and to such output and related background IP. For more information, please review the AnsysGPT Terms of Use.
AnsysGPT-Semiconductor is available as an additional avenue of customer support. This will not adversely impact your access to other avenues of Customer support.

AnsysGPT-Semiconductor access is granted to a list of users nominated by the Ansys Account Manager for the account. Ansys will review and approve these requests in its sole discretion. You must communicate this request through your Account Managers.

If you have an active TECS license, there is currently no additional charge for you to access AnsysGPT-Semiconductor.
You must have an active TECS or lease license to access AnsysGPT-Semiconductor. If your license to TECS expires, Ansys will terminate your access to AnsysGPT-Semiconductor.
Terms and Conditions
AnsysGPT-Semiconductor is provided as part of customer support. The relevant portions of the agreement governing your access to TECS also apply to your access to AnsysGPT-Semiconductor. Additionally, all users must acknowledge the User Notice and User Terms of Use prior to gaining access to the platform, which outline the obligations of each user who accesses the AnsysGPT-Semiconductor platform.
AnsysGPT-Semiconductor and all output/responses are provided ‘as is’ and any express or implied warranties are expressly disclaimed. Ansys provides no warranty regarding the platform or any output.

Do not submit any information that (1) is considered sensitive personal data, (2) is considered information that U.S. Government Classified, Controlled Unclassified Information, International Traffic in Arms Regulators (ITAR) or Export Administration Regulators (EAR) controlled or otherwise have been determined by the United States Government or by a foreign government to require protection against unauthorized disclosure for reasons of national security, (3) infringes, misappropriates or violates any third-party rights or applicable laws, or (4) other information prohibited by the AnsysGPT User Notice or AnsysGPT Terms of Use.
